Welcome to Winter Taxidermy
My name is Terry Winter. I am an avid hunter and fisherman, and my interest in taxidermy began at a young age — I am self-taught. I provide taxidermy services for birds, fish, fish replicas, gameheads as well as small mammals.

Quality work at reasonable rates
At Winter Taxidermy, be assured that your trophy will be treated as if it were my own. You may expect sound, quality service at reasonable rates, with low turnaround times. My business is state and federally licensed. For over 10 years I have been a member of the Iowa Taxidermy Association. I am currently a board member and soon to be an officer. During my time with the Association, I have won several Professional and Masters ribbons, as well as special awards.
Please feel free to view my photo gallery to see some examples of my taxidermy mounts. If I may be of service to you, feel free to call or e-mail me at anytime.
Upon accepting a mount, I do require a 50% deposit with balance due at the completion of your trophy.
